Question: Can an eye twitch be caused by a pinched nerve in spine?
Answer: There seems to be a general consensus in the medical profession that eye twitching isn’t a symptom of pinched nerves in the shoulders or back. However, some people with pinched nerves in these areas have reported developing an eye twitch. As you move further up to the neck, head, face, etc pinched nerves in these areas are known to have eye twitches as a symptom. Particularly the occipital nerve located at the top of the neck. After reading countless information on this my conclusion is that it’s very unlikely but still possible to have an eye twitch resulting from pinched nerves in the shoulders and spine.
