Question: Can computers cause eye twitching?
Answer: There are a couple different ways that computer use can lead to developing eye twitching. The first is if your eyesight is bad and you’re straining to read things on the screen. This can lead to excessive eye strain which is a known cause. Another possibility is the lack of “full range” of focus that our eyes need to stay healthy. When you’re looking at a screen all day your eyes are always focused at a specific distance no matter what is on the screen. Our eyes aren’t designed this way and are supposed to be constantly shifting between depths of field in our vision.
