Stress

Stress Eye Twitch

Being stressed out can cause a lot more physical problems than just eye twitching. Studies have been done that show people who consider themselves more stressed out have weakend immune systems, lower life expectancies, and more psychological disorders. It’s very important than you find a way to lower your stress level. You can take up a hobby that lets you relax, start meditating or doing yoga, start playing a sport, etc.

Take a day or two to reassess the things in your life that are causing you stress. At first you might have a list that is too long to be useful to you. If you keep thinking about it though you can almost always identify the root cause of your stress.

Some people know what is stressing them out but they choose to ignore it for some other perceived gain. For example, better pay, because they feel “comfortable” where they are, or they’re worried what others think of them. Ask yourself if whatever gains you’re getting from being in a stressful environment are really worth the toll it’s taking on your body, happiness, and life in general.

In some cases you might just be at a stressful point in your life if you’re making a major transition or something similar. If this is the case find ways to minimize the impact of that stress and counter it. Remember that life is full of risks and that without risk there is little reward, for every bad day or situation create two positive ones, and so on.

Always keep in mind that sometimes the perceived benefits of remaining in a stressful situation might disappear due to future consequences or even unexpected actions. Try to live your life for now and not some imagined date in the future when everything will work out.
